JOB DESCRIPTION: To develop leaders and create accessible and transformational environments for students in 6th-12th grade, helping students grow in their relationship with God and engage in life-giving relationships with others.

RESPONSIBILITIES: • Oversee all aspects of weekly student programming for 6th – 12th grades. • Oversee all aspects of special events that help accomplish this objective. (Retreats, Mission Trips, Events) • Mobilize and equip leaders to build influential relationships with students. • Work to become an essential resource for parents of 6th – 12th grade students. • Be a great teammate with whatever is needed as it relates to your department – be HUMBLE, HUNGRY, and SMART!

THE BEST FIT: • Must love students! • Self-starter! Must be self-motivated to accomplish objectives. • Team builder and developer (lead through others) • FUN! Know how to bring a dynamic experience to students. • Must be able to cast vision and think conceptually about the future. • Able to create and maintain systems. • Able to understand the steps that lead to results and execute them. • Creative problem solver. • Understanding and ability to use/lead through planning center, church center app, orange curriculum, etc.

GOALS: • Build connected and engaged teams for Students and leaders • Create weekly environments for Students that are FUN and ENGAGING and make Students want to come back AND invite their friends! • Build systems for teams and tasks so that execution is consistent and on time. • Make Westbridge Church an essential resource in the lives of families. • Evaluate results, always looking for ways to make things better. This position currently reports to the Lead Pastor. As we grow, we will hire an executive pastor and Student Ministry Pastor will report to Executive Pastor. Also opportunity for the right person to grow into a “Next Gen” or “Family Life” role where they oversee staffing in ages newborn–12th grade and beyond as part of an executive team.
