About the Position

Position Description

Since 1971, Colonial Summer Staff has been a place for college students to live out the gospel of the Kingdom through hands-on ministry. Each summer, we hire 12–15 college-aged students who are passionate about following Jesus and serving in student ministry. Over the course of 9 weeks, Summer Staffers live in community, receive intentional discipleship, and gain ministry experience by serving in middle school, high school, and college ministry across both of our campuses.

During the summer months, plan and execute Junior High and High School ministries in a manner that glorifies Jesus Christ. Summer staffers live together in church dorms. In the mornings, staffers are equipped through Bible studies, seminars, spiritual disciplines, and personal devotion time. In the afternoons, they invest in students through Bible studies, discipleship, and relational ministry. Reports to: Student Ministries Directors Teams with other members of the Summer Staff
