East Union Christian Church is a rural congregation of 150 average attendance located within 15 minutes of several growing communities. We are an independent (self-governed) Christian church founded on and adherent to the principles of the Restoration Movement; preaching God's Word, fellowship, partaking weekly of the Lord's Supper and corporate prayer - (Acts 2:42). We are a warm, welcoming and servant-hearted congregation.

Personal Qualifications

• A love of God, a love for God's word and a love for God's church
• Ministry Experience of 2+ years
• BA degree in preaching ministry from an accredited Church Bible College/University is preferred but NOT required
• Energetic, outgoing and confident public speaker

Summary of Responsibilities

• Education - instruction, teaching and preaching
• Evangelism - Community
• Minister Care - general counseling, community outreach, hospital/nursing home and in-home visitation

Compensation

• Salary - $50-55,000; TBD (ie. based upon such things as level of education, experience etc)
• Two weeks of vacation (paid). Additional vacation time per Eldership discretion
