Connections Associate - Blankenbaker Campus We are looking for a Connections Associate to help guide people on their spiritual journey at our Blankenbaker Campus. This role is essential for helping new and existing members feel a sense of belonging and take their next steps of faith.

What You’ll Be Doing: You will be a key part of our mission to unleash the full force of the church to love people one at a time. This includes:

• Empowering Leaders: Casting a compelling vision for our groups and creating a smooth process for onboarding, training, and coaching new leaders.
• Welcoming Guests: Providing personal, one-on-a-time follow-up for first-time guests and others seeking their next steps.
• Developing Disciples: Overseeing a discipleship class for new believers and assisting with our engagement pathway classes like Starting Point and Membership.
• Providing Pastoral Care: Offering support through baptisms, weddings, funerals, hospital visits, and other pastoral needs.

What We’re Looking For: The ideal candidate is passionate about shepherding, recruiting, and empowering volunteers. You'll also bring:

• A deep understanding of biblical disciple-making and the ability to clearly communicate it to others.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a highly relational approach.

Our Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree required; degree in Bible, Ministry, or Christian Education preferred.
• 3+ years ministry experience in a church setting preferred.
• Ordained pastor or willing to become ordained.
• The ability to explain doctrinal issues and answer questions in a biblical and understandable manner.
• Strong work ethic and a team player who interacts well with staff, members, and guests.
• Engaged member of Southeast Christian Church, or willing to become one.
