Indian Run Christian Church is seeking a Christ-centered, servant-hearted Associate Minister to join our ministry team. We are a rural congregation committed to loving God, loving people, and making disciples. The Associate Minister will focus on leading our family and youth ministry, assisting the Senior Minister, and serving in one additional ministry area that aligns with the candidate’s unique gifts (with a strong value placed on evangelism).

Primary Responsibilities:

• Family and Youth Ministry Provide leadership and vision for our youth and family programs.
• Disciple young people and equip parents as spiritual leaders.
• Plan and oversee youth gatherings, Bible studies, service opportunities, and special events.
• Support of Senior Minister:
  • Partner with the Senior Minister in the overall shepherding of the congregation.
  • Preach and teach as scheduled, filling in for the Senior Minister when needed.
  • Assist with pastoral care and church programs.
• Additional Area of Ministry:
  • Serve in one other major ministry area based on individual gifts and passions.
  • Evangelism is especially valued, but other areas such as outreach, discipleship, worship, or administration will be considered.

Qualifications:

• A growing relationship with Jesus Christ and a commitment to His Word.
• A heart for discipleship and evangelism. Strong communication, teaching, and relational skills.
• Education in Bible/Ministry preferred (or in progress).
• Experience working with youth and families is highly desirable.

Compensation Salary: $40,000. Full-time preferred; part-time candidates may be considered.
