Northeast Iowa Christian Service Camp is seeking a full-time year-round Administrative Director. We are offering $45,000 plus single insurance. A Director’s trailer home is available on site for housing if the director wants to live on site. Located just outside Bristow, IA the camp has been serving the local Restoration Movement churches since the 1960’s. The camp is about a 45-minute drive from Mason City, IA and from Waterloo/Cedar Falls, IA (both are the major hub city of a 9-county area in North Iowa).

The list of job responsibilities is posted below. It is subject to tweaks and changes based on skills, talents, and abilities as well as camp needs. Our current full-time director is desiring to retire in April. He is willing to go part-time during the transition to the new director to help “show them the ropes” of our camp. He is also willing to continue on as a volunteer who helps with maintenance of the camp after April. We hope to fill the position by mid-November to early-December to allow plenty of transition time. In the last 10 years, we have updated our facilities so that every building is now winterized. Now, we rent the facilities year-round to groups that want to hold retreats outside our normal summer camp season (and often outside the Restoration Movement). While the busiest time of year is in the summer, last year we had nearly 30 groups use the campgrounds. So the need for a full-time, year-round Administrative Director is great.
